Sparkbrook Church

This new church and outreach community facilty in Sparkbrook, Birmingham was designed and managed whilst with One Creative Environments, as part of an urban regeneration exercise lead by the NHS. We acted as design team lead and architectural design lead taking the client’s vision on to realization. Transparency and awareness were holistic concepts behind this facility that can be seen as outreach and missionary for the client. Although the Christian symbolism needed to be strong the building also needed to reflect a modern approach to it’s function. Although compact the church, located on this prominent corner, seems to occupy more space than it does – with confidence.
