The existing house, a bungalow located on the outskirts of Pershore, Worcestershire was originally designed as a modest two-bedroom dwelling. Our proposal looks to extend this to a three-bed making full use of the existing building with the an additional extension to form generous open living area.
A key objective was to take full advantage of the view towards Bredon hill and the wider Worcestershire countryside. To do this, key existing openings are increased with the new living area positioned to the rear, taking full advantage of the views into the garden and across the countryside.
Throughout the existing dwelling and extension, upgrades have been proposed, aiming to improve the buildings thermal performance and reduce its energy consumption. The proposed alterations allow the fabric of the building to be brought up to modern standards without having to undertake a full rebuild.
